My hero among heroes.

My rescuer, my chieftain.
Find me in this maze of black and blue,
This hell of mine, paradise of theirs.
Help me,
Guide me,
Love me,
Protect me.
Save me, my knight.

That knight... is out there. I've found mine. Yours may be different. Mine was. Think outside of the box to solve this question.
My knight saves me from myself, every god awful day.
What do I know? Poem felt simple to me, but that was the point right? (Nice little pun on black and blue.)
